Summing it all up….

When I tell someone I’m writing a book, one of the first questions I get is, “What’s it about?”.  For some reason, I always have a tough time answering this question, even though the answer should come easy to me. It’s either I’m scared of giving too much away, or either I feel it’s hard to sum it up on the spot. I should have a synopsis ready to go, shouldn’t I?

So, here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to work on my full synopsis while I’m out of the country this next week. My husband is hosting over 500 agents in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and we leave tomorrow. I hope to be able to work on the book and blog while I’m there. Blogging will depend on the wireless connection we have at the resort.

While basking in the sun, and sipping on a fruity drink , I will take some specific time to work on summing up Amelia’s Stoweaway in a nice, little package. It seems silly that I’ve missed this important detail, and I should have already taken this off my to do list.  Maybe it’s because I really don’t have a list going….I desperately need to work on that.

When I get it all summed up, I will be sure to do a blog posting about the stress it caused (or not). It may come easier than I think. I tend to make things harder than they really are. In all reality,  it only takes a notepad or computer to strike the mood and the words begin to flow.  The fruity drink should help too, right?

I hope to stay in touch with my blog while out of the country, but if not, Facebook and Twitter will be available via my phone.  I will work and play at the same time, and I have to say, playing may take over! I’m sure you won’t hold that against me.

I look forward to sharing more about my book in detail in the upcoming postings!

Cheers!!!  (You’re now hearing the cling of fruity drink glasses)

Until next time…..
